To the Queer Woman Who’s Wondered If She Belongs Here

You’ve scanned rooms for safety your whole life.
Listened closely for the tone shift.
Felt the chill behind fake smiles.
Waited for the moment when “welcome” turned into something else.

You’ve walked into women’s spaces before and held your breath—
unsure if your queerness would be embraced
or quietly erased.

But let me say this clearly:

You don’t just belong here.
You are cherished here.

Your queerness is not a side note.
It is sacred.
It is celebrated.
It is central to the sisterhood we are building.

We are not whole without you.

You bring colors, stories, truths the world tried to silence—and we want them all.

You don’t have to soften your edges here.
You don’t have to guess if it’s safe.
You don’t have to tuck away your joy, your grief, your love.

This space was made with you in mind.
And we are so glad you came.

Come rest in a place where your queerness is not tolerated—
but adored.

Where you are not a guest,
but family.
