To the Woman Who Had an Abortion

You made the choice.
Maybe it was clear.
Maybe it was agonizing.
Maybe you still don’t know how you feel about it.

This letter is not here to argue with your reasons.
It’s not here to weigh the “what ifs.”
It’s here to say:

You are not bad.
You are not broken.
You are not alone.

You held life.
You released life.
You survived a system that treats women’s bodies like battlegrounds and political talking points.

You made a sacred, complicated, human decision in a world that offers no soft place to land.

Let this be that place.

You don’t have to justify anything here.
You don’t have to explain the grief that catches you off guard, or the peace that surprised you, or the fact that both live in you at once.

You’re allowed to cry.
You’re allowed to feel nothing.
You’re allowed to move on, or not.

You are worthy of love.
You are deserving of gentleness.
You belong fully in the sacred circle of womanhood.

You are still whole.
You are still good.
You are still welcome.

Come rest.
Come be held.
This space was made for all of you.
